Citi's e for education campaign to support Place2Be

Citi’s 7th annual e for education campaign will run from 4 September to 1 November 2019, raising money for nine charities including Place2Be.

Place2Be are delighted to have been selected as one of nine charities benefitting from Citi's annual e for education campaign, which launches today.

e for education, created in 2013 by CitiFX, raises awareness and funds for education-focused non-profit organisations. Now in it's seventh year, Citi Foreign Exchange, Equities and Futures are all taking part. From 4 September to 1 November, for every $1 million traded, Citi will donate $1 to their selected charities.

e for education campaign highlights

This is the second year that Citi has chosen Place2Be as one of the charities to benefit from e for education. In 2018, the campaign raised a record $7 million, and Citi held 65 events across 9 countries and 13 cities with students, our partners, and clients.

Catherine Roche, Chief Executive of Place2Be, said: “Place2Be is thrilled to be a charity partner for Citi’s e for education programme. The funds raised by e for education will help us continue to support thousands of pupils in schools across the UK, ensuring that they are able to focus on their education and thrive. By providing emotional support in schools, not only do children benefit, but also the entire school community.”
