Thank you for submitting an application for Place2Be’s Level 4 Diploma in School-Based Child Counselling. You should shortly receive an email confirming the details of your application.  

We will be reviewing all applications over the following weeks. If you are applying for a bursary, you will hear from the Place2Be Team with the outcome of your application by the 21st April. If you are applying for a self-funded place, you will hear from us by 30th April.

Submitting your references 

In order for us to review your application, you need to organise and submit two references:

• one clinical academic reference*, e.g. your course tutor or supervisor (for Place2Be staff, this should be your Area Manager or School Project Manager)
• one character reference. 

*if you are applying for the Level 4 Bursary, we will accept a professional reference from a manager or an academic reference from a tutor. If you've not been in work or education in the past 3 years, you can give us a second character reference. We may ask for another reference in the future.

Your reference can't be a family relative. It's your responsibility to source your references and make sure your referees complete them. This includes if your referees are Place2Be tutors or employees. We cannot invite you in for an interview until we have received both of your references.
