Welcome to the Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi network, which you will find under "Place2Be - Guest" on your device.

You, the user, must use this service responsibly and in line with Place2Be’s Terms and Conditions below and the Place2Be Privacy Policy.

We recommend you review these regularly as they change from time to time.

1. Using Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi

1.1. The service is free while you continue to accept Place2Be’s Terms and Conditions.

1.2. To connect to the service, you will not need to provide Place2Be with personal information. However, details from the device you use to connect to the service will be recorded.

1.3. The service is intended for browsing the internet and using apps. You will not have access to the internal Place2Be Network.

1.4. You are solely responsible for all activity undertaken from your connection, and you should not allow anyone else to use your connection without your knowledge or consent. You must ensure that anyone else whom you allow to use the Service complies with these Terms and Conditions at all times.

1.5. In providing this free service, Place2Be cannot be held responsible for / or guarantee:

i. all hardware types or devices will be compatible;

ii. the service will be continuous or uninterrupted;

iii. any particular speed, connection or bandwidth (Place2Be may restrict or suspend the service at any time, for any reason, at its sole discretion);

iv. the security of any information or data which you transmit or receive;

v. the accuracy of any information or data obtained from the internet using Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi;

vi. the content of websites you visit while using the service. At our sole discretion, we may restrict access to certain features and websites. If you have any concerns about this or require any further information, you can contact us at ithelp@place2be.org.uk

1.6. Your use of Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi is limited to 24 hours, after which time your connection will end. You can subsequently reconnect to start another session.

2. How we use your information

2.1 By using Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi, you agree that your device details will be stored

2.2 Any activity you undertake on the Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi network will be logged against your device details. We use that data to monitor compliance with these Terms, prevent and detect crime, and monitor the usage of Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi. We reserve the right to report on any activity undertaken on Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi and, where necessary, restrict or block access to a person, account, website or device.

3. Our liability to you

3.1 Nothing in these Terms shall restrict or exclude our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, our liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

3.2 We shall not be liable to you in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise arising for:

i. loss of income or revenue;

ii. loss of business;

iii. loss of profits or contracts;

iv. loss of anticipated savings;

v. loss of opportunity or goodwill;

vi. loss of, damage to, or corruption, of data; or

vii. indirect or consequential loss of any kind.

4. What you must not do on Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi

4.1 You agree not to use Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi:

i. for any unlawful or illegal purpose;

ii. for any commercial purposes;

iii. in a way which causes the whole or part of Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi to be interrupted, damaged, made less efficient, or impairs the effectiveness or functionality of Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi in any way;

iv. for sending or posting any computer viruses or any other harmful code, or any material which is defamatory, offensive or obscene; or

v. use Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi in a way that infringes any person's rights (whether in breach of confidentiality or intellectual property rights or otherwise).

4.2 We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi, without advance notice, if we reasonably believe that you are misusing Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi or are otherwise in breach of these Terms.

5. Indemnity

5.1 You agree to indemnify and hold Place2Be, our subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents and employees harmless from and against all liabilities, claims, losses or damages (including legal fees), costs and other expenses, however caused, that may arise as a result of or in connection with inappropriate or unauthorised access to Place2Be Guest Wi-Fi by you and/or breach by you of any of these Terms.

5. General

6.1 If any part or provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you), the enforceability of any other party of these Terms will not be affected.

6.2 These Terms are governed by English Law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
