School mental health consultations – ‘Place2Think’

A reflective space for education professionals supporting positive mental health in school communities. Facilitated by Place2Be clinicians experienced in school and community settings.


Who is it for?

  • Place2Think is a supportive forum for professionals who work with children and young people to reflect on their work and explore issues raised
  • Suitable for teaching, non-teaching, pastoral or leadership teams. Individuals can sign-up to join a group of their peers, or schools and organisations can commission this service for a group

All packages include access to our online Introduction to Mental Health training programme. Headteacher and Leader packages also include access to our School Mental Health Audit tool.

Funding is available in some locations.

What does it cover?

  • Understanding behaviour
  • Issues in the playground or classroom
  • Building resilient relationships with children and young people with mental health needs
  • Reflecting on our emotional responses to children and young people
  • Practising self-care, managing stress
  • Devising a whole-school approach to mental health.


Headteachers & CEOs

Closed group for 6-8 people

  • Six 20-minute group sessions
  • £300 per person remote


  • Six 60-minute individual sessions for Headteachers
  • £600 remote

School Leadership or Class-based staff groups

Closed group for 6-8 people

  • Six 90-minute group consultations
  • £250 per person remote
