Place2Be's Wellbeing in Schools Awards - Terms and conditions

  1. These competition rules shall be binding upon entering Place2Be’s Wellbeing in Schools Awards 2022.
  2. The competition is promoted by Place2Be, 175 St John St, Clerkenwell, London EC1V 4LW. Registered charity numbers 1040756 and SC038649. Enquiries relating to the competition (including enquiries about the name of the eventual winners or the personal data collected about the name of the eventual winners or the personal data collected about you as a result of your entry) should be addressed to “Place2Be” and sent to awards@place2be.org.uk.
  3. At Place2Be, we take your privacy very seriously. We will never sell or swap your data with other organisations. Entrant details provided will be used only for communicating with entrants during the awards process. If you would like to find out more on how we use your data, please read our Privacy policy.   4. Place2Be reserves the right to disclose the name of the winners on request from a third party.
  5. Entrants must be residents in the UK to enter any category.
  6. Entrants must be in post in the 2021/2022 academic year.
  7. Entrants who are selected by the judges as finalists are expected to attend the Awards ceremony which will take place at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, in Central London on Monday 13 June 2022.
  8. Only one entry per category per person or team is permitted. Where there are multiple entries from the same person for the same category, the most recent entry is the one that will go forward for consideration.
  9. Place2Be partner schools (with a Place2Be School Project Manager, School-based Counsellor, Mental Health Manager/Practitioner, or Family Practitioner) can enter categories 1-8.
  10. Entry for Place2Be partner schools is permitted across multiple categories.
  11. Non-partner schools which have benefited from Place2Be training or consultancy are eligible to enter ‘The Mina Dell Mentally Healthy School Award’ category only.
  12. A “Thank you” message and confirmation email upon completion of the application form will indicate that your nomination has been safely received.
  13. Each entry must be the entrant’s own original work. Each entrant agrees they will not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights (including, without limitation, copyright), defame or libel any third party, or otherwise take any unlawful action in connection with the competition.
  14. The winning entries will be those which the judges determine, in their absolute discretion, to demonstrate the most compelling evidence within their respective categories.
  15. Place2Be shall not be liable for any damage, loss or disappointment suffered by any person taking part or not being able to take part in this competition.
  16. All entries must be received by 11.59pm (UK time) on Friday 29 April 2022 (the ‘Closing Date’). All eligible entries received by the closing date will be considered equally. Entries not submitted in accordance with the rules, or incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.
  17. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence in respect of their decision will be entered into. The winners will be notified on the day of the Awards ceremony.
  18. The winners will also be announced on our website at www.place2be.org.uk/awards in due course.
  19. The ceremony will celebrate up to three shortlisted finalists in each category, with two category finalists being ‘Highly Commended’ and awarded certificates. A trophy presentation will be made on the night to each category winner. There is no cash prize.
  20. Entrants acknowledge that the competition will be judged on the evidence submitted and that Place2Be cannot, and does not, make any general statement as to the qualities or otherwise of any of the competition winners.
  21. Competition winners may be required to take part in or cooperate with post-event publicity and materials submitted as part of the application - this may be used in digital, press and television publicity.
  22. Competition winners agree to keep confidential any knowledge about Place2Be and its business and personnel received by them as a result of the competition.
  23. By entering this competition you confirm that you have read and agree to our Privacy policy.
  24. These rules are governed by the law of England and Wales
  25. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose the competition without prior notice.
  26. We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time. By entering any competition all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and by any other requirements set out in the competition material.
