Place2Be's Wellbeing in Schools Awards - FAQs

Who can enter Place2Be’s Wellbeing in Schools Awards?

Place2Be’s Wellbeing in Schools Awards are exclusively for schools that work in partnership with Place2Be - with a Place2Be School Project Manager, School-based Counsellor or Place2Be Mental Health Manager / Practitioner based in the school.

There is also one category - The Mina Dell Outstanding Mentally Healthy School Award - open to any school that has trained with Place2Be since September 2019. This includes those who have completed any of the following:

  • Place2Be's ‘Senior Mental Health Leads training’
  • Place2Be's ‘Mental Health Champions - Foundation programme’
  • Place2Be's ‘Place2Think - school mental health consultations’

Can we enter if we don’t have Place2Be in our school?

You must be a Place2Be ‘partner school’ to enter categories 1-8. Please review the categories listed in the judging criteria to see the Awards for Place2Be's partner schools.

If you've received training from Place2Be and are able to evidence the impact of that training in your answer then you are eligible to enter 'The Mina Dell Outstanding Mentally Healthy School Award' category. Please note, only schools that are not Place2Be partner schools are eligible for this award.

If you're unsure if your school is a Place2Be partner school or not, please get in touch by email at awards@place2be.org.uk.
