What is a Quality Account?

A Quality Account is an annual report about the quality of services, measured by patient safety, how effective treatments are, and patient feedback.

The public and patients can read an organisation's Quality Account to find out about:

  • what an organisation is doing well
  • what needs to improve
  • how an organisation can prioritise these improvements
  • how an organisation involves people who use their services for improvements.

The NHS has more information about what a Quality Account is.
