The Young BAFTA Roadshow with Place2Be arrives in Enfield
The Young BAFTA Roadshow with Place2Be arrived at Prince of Wales Primary School in Enfield, London, yesterday, marking a joyful highlight in a milestone year for the school. The visit brought a celebration of creativity, storytelling, and aspiration, which left a lasting impression on pupils and staff.
Now in its 75th year of serving the local community, the school planned a number of special moments to reflect on its legacy, and the Young BAFTA Roadshow was a standout event in the programme. Situated in a culturally diverse part of North London, Prince of Wales Primary School offers a vital source of support for many families. Experiences such as the Young BAFTA Roadshow are unique, which made the opportunity to engage with BAFTA presenters and creatives particularly impactful.
Hosted by presenters Ben Shires and Esme Todd, alongside guest speaker Joy Gingell from Blink Industries, the day gave pupils the chance to meet inspiring figures from across the screen industries — sparking creativity and widening horizons.
