Overview
Place2Be has developed this online parenting course in partnership with South London and Maudsley-NHS Foundation Trust.
The course is based on Personalised Individual Parent Training (PIPT), the evidence-based intervention delivered by Place2Be Family Practitioners to parents and carers in primary schools.
Designed for parents and carers of children aged 4-11, Parenting Smart - Online Course provides tried and tested techniques that are proven to help children manage their emotions better, follow routines and improve relationships with friends and family.
Whether you are looking for new ideas or simply want to build on what you are already doing, this online course offers practical tools to help your child thrive.
Course details
4-week programme, broken down into 15-minute sections to fit around your day.
Eight short online modules of 30 minutes each (introduction, 6 content modules and conclusion).
Flexible access to the programme via any device and at a time that suits you.
Dedicated Place2Be professional to join discussions and aid online learning.
Dynamic and safe learning community offering the opportunity to learn from other parents' and carers' experiences.
