Place2Be is taking part in a groundbreaking collaboration aimed at empowering vulnerable women and young people in Westminster. 

It has been over one year since the rollout of Place2Be’s services in schools across Aberdeen, which has so far supported more than 1,500 children, teaching staff and school leaders.

Place2Be and the University of Stirling have announced a new partnership which will help student teachers learn about and support mentally healthy classrooms and schools.

Today, as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, The Daily Mile Foundation and Place2Be proudly announce their commitment to supporting better mental health and wellbeing for children and young people.

Place2Be’s Clinical Lead for Scotland, Becky Wilkinson-Quinn, discusses the importance of physical activity and shares some tips for parents, caregivers and teachers on how to get children and young people moving for their mental health.

Last week, BAFTA and Place2Be teamed up to launch the return of the Young BAFTA Roadshow.

The gala will bring together 200 guests for an evening to remember, and raise vital funds for children’s mental health.
