The shortlisting is part of the 25th Anniversary Reception, Dinner and Awards Ceremony, hosted by Charity IT Leaders on Thursday, 4 December 2025, at Inner Temple Hall in London. The event celebrates the achievements of IT and digital professionals who are driving transformation and impact within the voluntary sector.

Place2Be has been recognised for its innovative “Place2Be Project Insight” initiative, which uses advanced analytics and digital tools to improve service delivery and outcomes in schools. The charity is shortlisted in ‘Best Use of Emerging Technology’, ‘Data & Insight Project of the Year’ and ‘Technology Project of the Year’.

These nominations reflect Place2Be’s commitment to using technology not just as a support function, but as a strategic enabler of its mission. “Place2Be Project Insight” has helped the charity turn data into actionable insights, improving how services are delivered, monitored, and evaluated across its national network of partner schools.

Charity IT Leaders supports a diverse community of digital professionals across the voluntary sector – from senior leaders to technical specialists, service managers, and project leads. Since its founding in 2000, it has supported hundreds of professionals through peer networking, leadership development, and sector-wide collaboration. The organisation champions the role of technology in enabling charities to operate more efficiently and deliver greater impact.

The judging panel commended this year’s shortlisted organisations for their creativity, leadership, and measurable outcomes. The awards highlight how digital transformation is helping charities become more resilient, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of their communities.

Place2Be looks forward to attending the ceremony alongside fellow nominees and sector leaders to celebrate the power of technology in creating positive change.
