Join the only half marathon that sees you run through the iconic streets of the City of London and Westminster.

Experience that runner's high whilst taking in the landmarks of the city's famous sights. Whether you're new to running or experienced, get to know the city in a way you haven't before in the London Landmarks Half Marathon!

Challenge yourself, help to improve your mental and physical wellbeing and raise funds to support children's mental health before it's too late.

How to enter the London Landmarks Half Marathon

We would love to have you run for us on race day! There are two ways you can get a place to run for us:

  • Secure a charity place with Place2Be: As a charity, we get a certain number of places in the London Landmarks Half Marathon every year. You can apply to secure one of these places by filling in our form.
  • Choose to run for Place2Be using your own place: If you've secured your own place via the London Landmarks Half Marathon organisers, you can still raise money for Place2Be.

Where is the London Landmarks Half Marathon?

The London Landmarks Half Marathon takes place in London.

The route starts in Pall Mall, taking runners past many iconic London Landmarks, including Nelson's Column, St Paul's Cathedral, Somerset House and the Bank of England. It's ideal for both beginners and experienced runners due to the generally flat course.

When is the London Landmarks Half Marathon?

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 is taking place on Sunday 12 April 2026.

How far is the London Landmarks Half Marathon?

The run is a half marathon, which is 13.1 miles.

How much money do I need to raise?

If you have a charity place, we ask you to raise at least £350. But don’t worry! Our friendly fundraising team will support you every step of the way.  

If you secure your own place from Edinburgh Marathon, you'll be free to set your own fundraising target! 

Do I get a medal after finishing?

You bet. You will get a fantastic medal relating to an exciting part of the course. The design changes every year so are unique and collectible. 

I am a wheelchair user. Can I take part?

Absolutely, we would love to welcome you into our team! There are places available for wheelchair participants using a rigid manual powered day chair or adapted wheelchair buggy. Please let us know if you would like to take part and we will request a place from the event organisers on your behalf. You can read more about taking part in the event in a wheelchair.

How old do I have to be to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon?

You need to be at least 17 years old on the day of the  London Landmarks Half Marathon.
