Place2Think offers education professionals access to a series of small group sessions on wellbeing.
Programme update
Thank you for your interest in Place2Think. We have now reached full capacity and will not be starting any new cohorts this academic year outside existing funding streams. We are evaluating the offer over the summer to build in any learning for future delivery.
If you would like to find out what other support Place2Be can offer in the meantime, please get in touch via our enquiries form.
Thank you to our funders
In 2020 and 2021, Place2Think was kindly funded by the Scottish Government in Scotland, and by The Lord Mayor’s Appeal in London.
What is Place2Think?
Place2Think are small group supervision sessions for education professionals supporting positive mental health in school communities. Facilitated by Place2Be clinicians experienced in school and community settings. The model borrows from therapeutic and social care practices.
Some of the areas that Place2Think sessions have covered:
- Supporting anxiety
- Issues in the playground or classroom
- Building resilient relationships with children and young people
- Reflecting on our emotional responses to children and young people
- Practising self-care, managing stress
What Place2Think is not
Place2Think is not a taught programme with a set curriculum. The supervision in the programme does not include line management or group therapy.
