Peer Mentoring

Duration: 1 full day

For older teenagers or young adults, our mentoring skills programme offers the opportunity to develop important life skills while supporting local children.

The Peer Mentoring programme is designed to support a secondary school to set up a Peer Mentoring service for a local primary school.

The training offers year 11/12/13 students the opportunity to develop and enhance their capacity in their role as Peer Mentor and to provide peer Mentoring support for students in years 5 to 8.

  • Skills for working with children
  • Understanding of child development
  • Active listening
  • Managing expectations
  • Child protection
