Children’s Mental Health Week – 5-11 February 2018

10/11/2017

Free primary and secondary school resources are now available to help schools and youth groups get involved in Children’s Mental Health Week 2018.

Theme - #BeingOurselves

The theme for Children’s Mental Health Week 2018, which will take place on 5-11 February, is ‘Being Ourselves’.

Place2Be is inviting everyone – children, young people and adults – to come together and celebrate the unique qualities and strengths in themselves and others.

When we have a positive view of ourselves, it can help us to cope with life’s challenges and make better connections with others. At the same time, celebrating the unique strengths of the people around us can allow us to come together in our schools, workplaces and communities.

New resources

Teachers, school staff and youth group leaders can download assembly guides, PowerPoint slides and class and group activities from a special new Children’s Mental Health Week website, with more resources to follow in the coming months.
