Mental Health Champions London training
Thanks to generous funding from Morgan Stanley, Place2Be is able to offer eligible schools in Greater London free access to its Mental Health Champions – School Leader programme.
We still have some places available this academic year and are also recruiting for Autumn cohorts. Please register your interest and we will be in contact with options.
About the programme
Held over two terms, 2 participants from each school will work in groups with other School Leaders supported by clinicians to focus on building a mentally healthy school. At least one participant must be on SLT.
Programme duration: 3.5 days teaching time, plus two 60 minute consultation sessions.
The programme covers:
- Child development and leading mental health strategy
- Engaging with stakeholders and Attachment in the school
- Delivering and embedding strategy
- Sharing outcomes and working with other CAMHS providers (half-day)
It is designed to be adaptable to each school’s individual context, with tailored support and opportunities to practice new skills.
