Successful applicants for our clinical roles will have a recognised counselling or therapeutic qualification and come from a range of backgrounds such as: school counselling, clinical psychology, play therapy, art therapy or pastoral support.

Clinical Psychologist

In response to the Grenfell tragedy in West London, we are expanding our service within existing schools and offering support to new schools and children’s centres in the vicinity.  We are working alongside other agencies to provide expert counselling and mental health support for children, young people, parents and school staff both immediately, and in the months and years to come. This includes emergency drop-in services and full time intensive support.


Service Manager

A Clinical Manager role involving the management of the relationship between the service area and other functions/departments within Place2Be. The role is responsible for up to three clusters, each with up to twelve schools, plus direct management of up to four schools.

A Clinical Manager role incorporating the clinical supervision of school-based counselling services alongside an active role in the overall operations of the charity.

Successful applicants will manage the school-based counselling service in a school, taking responsibility for clinical supervision and fostering strong relationships within the school community.

Assistant School Project Manager

Successful applicants will support the management of the school-based counselling service in a school.  This is a fixed term training and development role that could lead to excellent career progression with Place2Be.

West Midlands


M-PACT Plus Programme

Funded by The Royal Foundation and Comic Relief, the M-PACT Plus Programme is delivered in schools by trained Place2Be and school staff. They identify, support and refer families affected by parental drug and alcohol misuse.
